Middle class families are being ripped off by Donald Trump, the most corrupt president in American history. While local families are struggling with housing and skyrocketing food prices under his rule, Donald Trump and his family are raking in billions through shady crypto deals. He’s giving hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts and government contracts to his billionaire friends. And middle class families are paying the bill. It’s time to take the gloves off. It’s not enough to oppose Trump and his MAGA flunkies. We must crush them at the ballot box, elect Democrats at all levels, and put government back on the side of middle class families.

I stand with the 2,492 farms across Bay, Midland, and Saginaw counties. Donald Trump’s tariffs are choking export markets, and too many growers are heading into harvest with few buyers and bills due. I can’t end federal tariffs, but I’ll keep pressure on Washington and support aggressive state action: restore MDARD funding, create emergency bridge loans, expand farm-to-school and food-bank purchasing. I’ll fight to protect local land-use control so prime farmland isn’t paved over, defend Right to Repair, and invest in infrastructure and rural broadband so product moves and margins pencil out. I’ll make agriculture a top priority again.

I’m running to defeat Donald Trump and MAGA in the 35th State Senate District because I’ve sworn oaths — to patients as a trauma surgeon, to our nation as an Army colonel in Iraq and Afghanistan, and to our community as a Saginaw police officer — to defend the Constitution and the rule of law. Trump and MAGA would bend the law to one man and push dissenters to the margins. They are a loud minority within a minority. We are America’s majority, and it’s time we started acting like it. Let’s stand up to the bully Trump and his MAGA followers and restore leadership that tells the truth and works for middle class families again.
